October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and this year I got involved. A few Saturdays ago, I participated in the Chicago's Race for the Cure with some friends, and I actually completed a 5K. Yes, I ran...the entire time... for over three miles. I'll give you a second to get over the shock.

It was a fun race with lots of pink, sponsors, families and support for those with breast cancer or recovering. Breast cancer awareness seems to have become the cool charity to support lately, with lots of brands putting out products supporting the cause during the month of October.
